One repeatable routine

From a new class to a useful next step

The setup stays simple for teachers and students, while each diagnostic remains attached to the individual learner.

  1. 1
    Create the class

Choose the grade, state, and assessment context. Testinar generates the class code.

  2. 2
    Add students

Add a first name and last initial, then assign a 6-8 character PIN. Student email is not required.

  3. 3
    Run the diagnostic

Assign the Grade 3 starting diagnostic to one student or the whole class. Timing adapts to the school year.

  4. 4
    Choose the next lesson

Review readiness by area, practice-first topics, and a recommended seven-day plan.

Current assignment scope

Today, the managed assignment flow centers on Grade 3 diagnostics and recommended lesson links. A broader teacher-built practice assignment tool is in development.

Teacher and school questions

How do students sign in to Testinar?

A teacher creates a class and student profile. Each student uses the class code and their own 6-8 character PIN; students do not need an email address.

Which grades currently have diagnostic testing?

The managed starting diagnostic and topic-level report are currently available for Grade 3. Public lessons and practice libraries cover Grades 3-8.

Can teachers assign practice and review reports?

Teachers can assign Grade 3 diagnostics to a class or an individual student, review readiness reports, and direct students to recommended public lessons. A broader teacher-built practice assignment workflow is still in development.

How does classroom licensing work?

Downloadable eBook license quantities are selected during checkout, where any active multi-license pricing is shown before payment. Automated school and district Learning Center licensing is not yet available.

Does Testinar support district rostering or single sign-on?

Not yet. Teachers can manage classes and student profiles directly. District dashboards, SIS rostering, and single sign-on are planned capabilities rather than current features.
