ISEE Lower-Level Math Test

The Bureau of Education Archives developed the Independent School Entrance Examination (ISEE) for its membership as part of its admissions procedure.
ISEE Lower Level assessments are given in a multiple-choice format and include two Mathematics sections:

Quantitative Reasoning

The Quantitative Reasoning part has 38 questions, and students have 35 minutes to answer them. In addition, this section offers word puzzles that need either no or basic calculation.

Mathematics Achievement

The Mathematics Achievement part contains 30 questions, and students have 30 minutes to answer them. Mathematics Achievement assesses pupils' understanding of mathematics problems that need one or more steps to solve.
