ALEKS Math Assessment
ALEKS stands for Assessment and Learning in Knowledge Spaces. It is a highly sophisticated artificial learning and evaluation system employed by over 25 million students in mathematics, chemistry, statistics, and accounting.
ALEKS was created by cognitive scientists, mathematicians, software engineers, and educators at the University of California and is available for K-12, Higher Education, and Continuing Education. It's designed to help you figure out what you know and don't know before explaining and practicing problems for ideas you don't understand. In addition, the results of the ALEKS assessment test assist in determining the appropriate level for course placement.
Multiple-choice questions are not used in ALEKS. Instead, it employs a flexible, user-friendly manner that resembles pencil and paper techniques. A brief tutorial will assist you in understanding how to utilize the ALEKS response input tools while taking the ALEKS test. Then you begin assessing ALEKS. The ALEKS assesses your current content knowledge by asking 20 to 30 questions over 30 to 45 minutes.
ALEKS is divided into three sections:
An Initial Placement Evaluation
The Learning and Preparation Module is a self-paced online review that can be completed at your own pace.
Four additional Placement Assessments are available to you.
ALEKS is a Computer Adaptive Test. It means that each question will be chosen based on the responses to the previous ones. It signifies that you can't change your mind after answering a question. As a result, each set of assessment questions is different.
Use the following FREE ALEKS Math practice questions, worksheets, and tests to prepare for the real ALEKS Math test. Also, our Accuplacer Mathematics resources have been completely updated to suit the most recent Accuplacer modifications for the year 2022.
