Parent and Teacher Account Modes

Learn when to use Parent mode, when to use Teacher mode, and how switching modes affects your Learning Center tools.

Parent mode

Use Parent mode for one household. Student profiles belong directly to the parent account and practice is managed at home.

  1. Open Dashboard and choose Open Parent Portal.
  2. Add one profile for each child.
  3. Open Diagnostic Center to prepare or review a checkpoint.

Teacher or tutor mode

Use Teacher mode when students should be organized into classes or tutoring groups.

  1. Open Dashboard and switch to Teacher Account if needed.
  2. Create at least one class.
  3. Add students to the class and share their login information.

Switching modes

Switching account mode changes which management tools are shown. It does not delete purchases, downloads, or existing learning records.
