Teacher Portal Overview

A quick map of classes, students, student login, diagnostics, and the normal order for setting up a new group.

Recommended setup order

Set up the class structure before assigning diagnostics.

  1. Create a class with its grade, state, and assessment.
  2. Add students to that class.
  3. Give each student the class code and their private PIN.
  4. Open Diagnostic Center and assign a starting diagnostic.
  5. Review reports after students finish.

Classes and rosters

Select Classes in the left navigation to create a class or review its roster. Selecting a class scrolls to the matching student list.

Students and diagnostics

Select Students to search and edit individual profiles. Select Diagnostics to prepare checkpoints and review results.

Good to know
  • Teachers can view diagnostic details and reports, but students answer from Student Login.

Quick answers

Can one teacher create multiple classes?

Yes. Each class receives its own class code and roster.

Can a student move to another class?

Yes. Open Students, select the student, and change Assigned Class before saving.
