The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a collection of 33 standardized assessments that assess your understanding of specific subjects. You can receive college credit at thousands of schools and universities by passing a computer-based CLEP exam.The CLEP College Algebra exam measures students’ understanding of math concepts typically covered in a one-semester college algebra course. It consists of 60 multiple-choice questions that must be answered in 90 minutes. Some of these are pretest questions that will not be graded. These 60 multiple choice questions cover different math topics from basic algebraic operations, linear and quadratic equations, to exponential and logarithmic functions. Throughout the testing period, pupils have access to a scientific calculator.The CLEP College Algebra exam score ranges from 20 to 80, with this score equating to an A, B, C, or D.
