DAT Test Review

The American Dental Association (ADA) developed the Dental Admission Test (commonly known as the DAT) to examine dental school applicants' overall intellectual and perceptual ability.

The DAT is made up of four sections of multiple-choice test questions:

  • Perceptual Ability
  • Reading Comprehension
  • Quantitative Reasoning
  • Survey of Natural Sciences

The DAT's Quantitative Reasoning part assesses applicants' arithmetic abilities, which will be needed in dentistry school. There are 40 multiple-choice questions in this portion, and test-takers have 45 minutes to complete them. In addition, this section will have a basic four-function calculator on the computer screen.

To prepare for the DAT Quantitative Reasoning test, use the free DAT Quantitative Reasoning practice questions, worksheets, and tests listed below. Our DAT Math resources have been completely updated to suit the most recent DAT modifications for 2022.
